Timber Pro’s Log & Siding Formula will deliver superior wood protection for all types of exterior wood siding such as cedar, fir, pine, redwood, cypress, teak, mahogany and more. At Timber Pro, we are pioneers in the development of environmentally safe, oil based yet nonflammable wood finishes, and have been creating safe and highly durable wood care products for over 20 years. There are two versions of Timber Pro’s Log & Siding Formula. The original formula, Log & Siding Pro Formula, this one, was designed for rough sawn wood siding, cedar shakes and shingles, hand hewn logs, and aged wood siding. The second version is called Log & Siding Smooth Formula. That formula is for new, smooth milled wood siding, or for interior wood surfaces such as trim, beams, log walls, etc.

Log & Siding Pro | Microtint Series & Clear
LS PRO is a heavy-duty, plant-oil-based, waterborne, penetrating stain designed specifically for rough-sawn exterior siding, mass timber, logs, cedar shingles, and other highly porous wood surfaces. Engineered for superior adhesion and deep fiber saturation, LS PRO delivers long-term UV protection, water resistance, and color longevity across a variety of architectural applications. LS PRO has a rapid first coat absorption rate of 10 minutes(under ideal conditions) enabling quick turnaround for prestaining machines or dynamic operations.
While LSS performs exceptionally well on its own, prior to staining, one can apply Internal Wood Stabilizer (IWS) or Ember Guard (EG) beneath LSS for enhanced pigment durability, dimensional stability, rot prevention, pest deterrence, and Class A fire resistance (EG).

LS PRO is intended for raw or properly prepped rough-sawn wood surfaces. Not intended over surfaces previously coated with non-penetrating acrylics, latex, solid paints, or oil-based products still resisting water. For optimal results, use LS PRO on raw wood surfaces(kiln-dried or air dried, moisture content <14%).

I used the Internal Wood Stabilizer on the interior of our cedar raised beds. It's an excellent product - the best food-safe waterproofing treatment that I could find.
